The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine (CUSDM) seeks outstanding applicants for a full-time, clinical track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.

This clinical teaching (CT) track full-time position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor (CT) or Associate Professor (CT), depending upon candidate qualifications.

Position Emphasis:

Responsibilities include teaching in the Pediatric Dental Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado; directing/teaching courses and seminars in the pediatric dentistry department; in addition to scholarly activities, and service.

Participation in a faculty care provision role is possible in a Children’s Hospital Colorado clinic.



Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:


Assistant Professor:

  • A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of a CODA approved Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program
  • Board eligibility in pediatric dentistry
  • Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
  • At this rank, applicants will have some successful teaching experience and will be expected to teach and/or provide clinical care.

Associate Professor:

  • A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of a CODA approved Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program
  • Board eligibility in pediatric dentistry
  • Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
  • At this rank, applicants will be well qualified to teach and/or provide clinical care with considerable demonstrated evidence of successful teaching and demonstrated leadership and service.

Successful candidates will have experience and demonstrate inclusivity while working in a diverse academic, research and clinical community. 

Demonstrated leadership, organizational and communication skills are required.
